The environmental service provider take-e-way GmbH advises all manufacturers, importers and distributors of photo-voltaic modules not to conclude any recycling contracts or contracts for the provision of services yet in order to complete the processing of the WEEE directive.

The form proposed by VERE and take-e-way to issue an EU declaration of conformity in accordance with the new ElektroStoffV ordinance complies with the requirements of Attachment VI of the 2011/65/EU (RoHS) directive.

take-e-way welcomes the announcements of the Foundation EAR to register the environmentally-friendly LEDs separately from the suboptimal gas discharge lamps.

Manufacturers, importers and distributers of LEDs and all other lamps except from gas discharge lamps will profit twice from August 1st on.

From 2014 the take-e-way GmbH will offer the WEEE complete processing for photovoltaic modules for a price of presumably less than 1 Euro per module.

With the publication of the Federal Law Gazette dated May 8th, 2013 the ordinance on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroStoffV) was announced. It came into force on May 9th, 2013.

VERE learned from some manufacturers that the Foundation EAR is planning to remove the LEDs from the collection group 4 (gas discharge lamps) and to assign them to the collection group 5 (small household appliances) this year.

ElektroStoffV: take-e-way is developing a service package in order to be able to perform as much tasks on your behalf acting as a representative as possible.

The donation amounts to 1,400.00 Euros and is originated from the prize money of the second rank of the 15th SIGNAL IDUNA environmental and health award.

From September 1st, 2013 on, the new practice in the differentiation will be binding.
