(Hamburg/Germany) take-e-way extends its service provision in the quality assurance, in the international goods purchase as well as in the approval of products. The service is being offered in cooperation with the TMK Retail Service & Consulting GmbH.

Shareholder of take-e-way holds a 50 percent share of TMK
take-e-way and TMK cooperated in the field of product safety / product inspection for some time intensively. With a recently acquired 50 percent share in the TMK Retail Service & Consulting GmbH by the Buhck Group, this cooperation is sealed with consolidation and extension.

Dr. Henner Buhck, executive manager of the Buhck Group, expresses his satisfaction about the recent addition to the consortium: “Our group company take-e-way was already closely cooperating with TMK in the past. The recently performed share is another step of the further development of the business segment of consultancy of the Buhck Group.”

Buhck is one of the largest environmental service providers in Northern Germany and founding shareholder of take-e-way with a 50 percent share. Buhck sustainably supports the development of the company since its foundation in 2004.

Safe electrical and electronic devices – fitness for use
TMK provides services about product safety and quality. These include comprehensive research on standards, documentation checks (inspection reports, type plates and instruction manuals, etc.), organisation of possibly necessary product inspections (e.g. CE tests) and comprehensive consultation, in order to enable compliant sales within the law.

Upon request, the TMK also checks the compliance with different quality criteria. Furthermore, TMK offers also assistance for RoHS, REACh, low-voltage directive (2014/35/EU), EMC directive (2014/30/EU), energy labelling requirements and even for the EU timber regulation (EUTR).

A strong cooperation
With the intensive cooperation between TMK and take-e-way, services of both companies can be mutually provided to the corresponding customers in order to support the manufacturers and importers in fulfilling their manufacturer responsibility.

Experience from the quality management of major DIY stores
Thomas Müller-Krusche, shareholder and managing director of TMK, was recently responsible for the quality and environmental management of a large DIY chain and he previously worked in the management of the TÜV Rheinland for many years.

Therefore, Müller-Krusche is familiar with the compliance and the practical implementation of the conformity requirements of broader product inventories. From now on, take-e-way customers can benefit even more from this experience.
