Hamburg – The quality management system of take-e-way GmbH is certified according to the current ISO 9001:2008. Due to the important responsibility, which the company takes for its customers, take-e-way has already committed itself to highest quality requirements since its foundation. The checking and successful testing of this quality level represents the basis for further process innovations of the company. Therefore, in April 2010 a comprehensive test of all existing business processes of take-e-way took place. At this, also the employees were questioned with regard to detailed processes and tasks. As expected the ISO status was certified following the test at the first attempt. This way, it is also proven by certificate that the established quality assurance measures and the education of employees of take-e-way comply with the international quality management standard. Jochen Stepp, manager of take-e-way considers the ISO certification to be an important success for the whole company: “The certification confirms that the procedures which we developed together with our employees comply with the requirements of the state-of-the-art quality management. For us this is an additional motivation to further develop the quality of our processes."
take-e-way GmbH at Hamburg takes over the implementation of requirements and obligations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, of the Battery Act and of the Packaging Ordinance for medium-sized companies in Germany and abroad according the legislation. Together with the Alliance for the Returning and Recycling of Electric and Electronic Devices (VERE e.V.) founded in 2003 – the organization of suppliers, manufacturers, trade association and individual persons with most members – take-e-way represents the interests of more than 2.000 small and medium-sized companies in implementing environmental laws also on the political level.
