As a member of the association VERE e.V., you can become a party to an overall agreement as a distributor of products subject to copyright fees under the Copyright Act (UrhG) and save 20 per cent of the copyright fees payable.
New: With immediate effect, you can also enter into overall contracts for the following equipment and devices via VERE:
- Smartwatches
- Hard disks
- External disk burners
Accession to such an agreement can be retroactive to 1 January 2021 if the declaration of accession is submitted to the Central Organisation for Private Recording Rights (Zentralstelle für private Überspielungsrechte - ZPÜ) in the original by 1 October 2021.
In addition, you can also enter into overall contracts for the following equipment and devices via VERE:
- Mobile phones
- Tablets
- PCs
- USB sticks and memory cards.
With an annual subscription of only €25 to the VERE association, participation in the overall agreements of VERE with the copyright utilisation societies is a great deal more favourable than via membership of industrial associations.
