Bureau Veritas and take-e-way offer seminars on legal requirements in electrical & electronic products

Thematic focuses are: Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, WEEE, Battery Act and RoHS

(Hamburg) In 2014, take-e-way and the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Germany GmbH will mutually offer seminars on "Legal requirements in electrical & electronic products". The seminars will be hold in German language.


Thematic focuses are: Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, WEEE, Battery Act and RoHS

The seminar provides basics, definitions and obligations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (WEEE) and the Battery Act.

In addition, scope, substances and limit values, exceptions as well as obligations to provide proof and the documentation requirements of the RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) are imparted.


Understanding requirements and obligations

The objective of the seminar is that the participants understand the requirements and obligations of the directive and laws and learn what they need to observe in their companies.

The seminar is suitable for purchasers, quality managers, manufacturers, distributors, importers and thus for all who manufacture, distribute or import electrical and electronic devices.


Three dates throughout Germany

You may choose among the following three dates:

- April 2nd at Nuremberg/Germany
- June 25th at Ratingen/Germany
- November 12th at Hamburg/Germany
