Traders dissatisfied with EPR policy

Six out of ten traders feel that the federal government is doing a poor or even very poor job with regard to the industry. Among other things, this is also due to the numerous legal requirements for their own business.

A quarter of SME trading companies currently do not feel prepared for the upcoming Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG, German WEEE conversion). The same applies to the innovations in the Packaging Act. This was the result of a survey among the sellers of a well-known online marketplace:

“Most traders think very little of the federal government and political measures for online trade: Six out of ten respondents perceive the work of the federal government in relation to the industry as poor or even very poor. This is partly due to the numerous legal requirements for their own business,” writes Onlinehändler News.
